Moses in the Cradle, Boat Lily, Tradescantia Spathacea

This plant is highly desirable for its variegated leaves that show off their shades of purple with a hint of green stripes. The leaves look different when turned over, adding a whole lot of variation in the plant’s appearance when seen from a distance. Blossoms of little white grow into the depths of a the leaves with a boat like appearance. An over all easy plant to grow, the Boat Lily helps to add a dash of colour amongst the greens.
